@gidget642 My carrier uses Samsara, and as long as I show 10 hours off in a 24 hour period (minimum 30 minutes) I'm not in violation, probably because the majority of the off-duty time crosses the midnight to midnight threshold.

This isnt excatly right. You have 2 hrs during the day you much take off. So you dont have a 30 minute break you have 4 30 minute breaks. You also can run on recap but are forced off ever 14th day. BTW you lose PC mile to 75 miles period.

@roadhardfit Yes but in minimum 30 minutes at a time to extend your clock. Its weird some elds except the ten hours off at one time and others dont.

So chris wants files released. I am only suggesting that would include the files from Keith Wilson. You know where he impeached himself at the POEC where he says he never spoke to Brian Peckford regarding Convoy. As early as Feb 3rd he notes he took direction from Peckford.

@roadhardfit @thepetepirate That wont happens you know it dispatch will push the drivers that are tired. Leave the 10 hour break but add flexibility. If you take 8 you need 4 30 minute breaks or a 2 hours break. If you take 10 no break required. Thats how Canada runs. Every 15th day you cant move.

@thepetepirate My biggest contention is the 10 hour daily reset. A majority of drivers don't need a 10 hour reset, and those that do can take 10 hours.

Under Canada's hours-of-service rules, they have: · 8 hour daily resets · 13 hours driving · No BS 30 minute break · Off-Duty Breaks >30 minutes pause your 14 hour on-duty clock The haters and naysayers think this will cause mayhem and chaos, but it works great in Canada! Also, hazmat and passenger vehicles aren't required to stop at UNCONTROLLED railroad crossings. @TrickyMickMinin @roadhardfit Dont forget the mandatory 15th day you can't run at all. And your trading a 30 minute break for 4, 30 minute breaks.

Bro, I love Canada for that reason. It's fantastic being able to run 13 hours with no mandatory break, and also you only need 8 hours off to start your next shift. It's only happened a few times, but running 26 hours in 2 days and only having that 8-hour break in between with no mandatory. 30 really helped me run a ton of miles those weeks. However, if you run out of hours, you'll need 36 hours off for a reset instead of 34. I may have had a red line once or twice going into Canada forgetting that.
