@gloo_rams @maetsa_kabomo Yup. I'm not even a South African. But during covid I had a lot of friends in China, Vietnam, and Malaysia that I helped out just so they could eat and pay rent. At least with America they will buy you food and provide accommodation if you're down and out.

Travel insurance should be made compulsory for South Africans traveling abroad. The risk is high, and the government can't keep absorbing the cost of uninsured travellers.

The Covid Plane from China was because a minister's daughter was studying in China so they evacuated students from that university and the rest of us were left to figure ourselves

@maetsa_kabomo Not at all. The South African government literally never provides funds for its citizens abroad except for some really exceptional and rare circumstances. You are always on your own abroad.

There needs to be an urgent intervention regarding South Africans trapped on foreign soil. Many have reached out to me in fear who are in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Sibling rivalry turns deadly on Christmas Eve A 31-year-old man will face a murder charge in Malamulele Magistrate’s Court following the death of his older brother on Christmas Eve. The incident occurred in Shigamani village, Limpopo after the 35-year-old victim returned home from Gauteng Province. According to a preliminary police report, an initial confrontation between the brothers escalated into a violent argument. During the altercation, the younger brother allegedly stabbed the victim in the upper body. A neighbor transported the injured man to a local clinic, but he died on the way to the hospital. The suspect fled but was located and arrested today, in nearby Mphambo village. He is expected to apply for bail on Monday.
