I’ve been to quite a few clinics and this is the 3rd time a QB coach has used Brock Purdy’s pocket work/mechanics as an example of what it’s supposed to look like. 🔥🔥

I kinda wonder if the 49ers are determined to semi-balance the positions they invite to Top-30 visits, when it's all said and done, to throw people off.

@jaaakeee19 @49ers_Access yes, they aren't the best secondary in the league, but they aren't trash. We weren't talking ish about them in 2024. Everyone was happy D'Mo got extended and Green was promising. Stout has tons of potential, too. It's not bleak, but competition added is always a plus

@goodbyeLMJ @49ers_Access coverage busts aren’t the result of poor pass rush. those are mental errors and inability to play zone.

@jaaakeee19 @49ers_Access I don’t think it’s as bad as recency bias would have us believe. The pass rush was horrendous most of last season. Few secondaries will look good without pressure on the cube

@49ers_Access @goodbyeLMJ correct. hobbs is not good, jones is very inconsistent, & green struggled heavily in zone last year due to coverage busts. the secondary isn’t in all that good of shape as people tend to think & bolstering the pass rush to compensate will only go so far.

NEW: Jaxon Smith-Njigba wore a size 12 at Ohio State and had hamstring issues. Seattle switched him to a 10.5 and the problems went away. The Seahawks have been using body scans to customize gear for each player and it’s paying off 👏

🔥NEW: Clarence Thomas — full remarks on progressivism, its foundations, history, and impact from his appearance at University of Texas at Austin: “Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and Mao were all intertwined with the rise of progressivism, and all were opposed to the natural rights on which our Declaration is based.” "Many progressives expressed admiration for each of them shortly before their governments killed tens of millions of people." "It comes as no surprise that the progressives embraced eugenics... It was only a small step for Wilson to resegregate the federal workforce." "It was only another step for the government to launch sterilization programs on those deemed by the experts of the day to be unfit to reproduce." “European thinkers have long criticized America for remaining trapped in a Lockean world, with its weakened, decentralized government and strong individual rights. They say our 18th-century Declaration has prevented us from progressing to higher forms of government." "But we were fortunate not to trade our Lockean bonds for the supposedly enlightened world of Hegel, Marx, and their followers. Fascism, which after all was national socialism, triggered wars in Europe and Asia that killed tens of millions." "The socialism of the Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China proceeded to kill tens of millions more of their own people. This is what happens when natural rights give way to higher-good notions of history or progress, or, as Thomas Sowell has written, the visions of the anointed." "None of this, of course, was an improvement on the principles of the Declaration. Tocqueville's Democracy in America is largely about how America owed its superiority over Europe to its conscious decision to reject central planning and administrative rule, root and branch." "Progressivism, in other words, is retrogressive.”

Hot take, but I don't think the 49ers are weak at CB. That said, you always want as much talent as you can and let the competition play out...but the CB room isn't trash and a pass rush would make it look amazing.

@CollegeFBPortal @jaxon_smith1 What's great is being able to find shoes wide enough to not cram your toes together and cause structural foot issues. Absent this, most people are having to size-up their shoes to find enough width. Pointy shoes make absolutely zero sense. Nobody's foot is shaped like that.

@LukeEasterling @SigmundBloom Each year we're told there are a total of about 57: potential first round picks, first round grades, first round consensus mock-draft players. This leads to all of the "Can't believe we got him in the 2nd round!" comments.

The U.S. isn't "paying" or "giving" Iran $20B. Stop posting things you don't understand. U.S. offer: Release $20 billion in Iranian funds that have been frozen abroad under U.S. sanctions (mostly oil revenue sitting in foreign banks).
