Government should address the rise of healthy, fit women using little kids to roam around begging for alms. These kids should be in school or learning a skill, not being deprived of their childhood. Many of the adults can take menial jobs. These kids are used as emotional bait.

As I have always said, If you have a problem with menstrual blood, then just date a man. Women menstruate it is not news. And sometimes, mistakes will happen.

The 2024 GBOS ethnic group data ≠ first-language distribution. Many of us use English as a first language, while others use languages outside their ethnic background. Data ≠ analysis; the 80% you cited is raw data without the logic to support your argument.

Let’s please remove sentiment and focus on function & fairness. Over 80% of Gambians don’t speak Wolof as a first language, making it mandatory for a non-language-specific role excludes most people. QTV’s Mandinka requirement fits the job. Wave’s doesn’t.

There was a time they were looking for a Customer Support Representative who was fluent in Sarahule, which was a primary requirement. Sometimes the requirements were speaking at least 3 local languages(wolof, mandinka and fula to be specific). I don’t understand the fuss.
