i never want to hear this dumbass myth again tbh. i have severe ADHD and i got addicted to and abused my medication. there is a lot of comorbidity between ADHD and substance abuse. it’s just not that simple

this is such a pervasive myth but it really makes no sense if you think about it. ADHD is a cluster of symptoms, and it’s complex. there’s no biological marker for it that would result in a stark difference in response to amphetamines.
