Saw some type of bee eating chunks out of various leaves including mango, ginger and turmeric. Had never seen before - it is a leaf cutter bee! It will make a nest from the leaves. Bitey.

We seriously need to stop the practice of automatically signing up everyone for marketing spam email, just because they made a purchase, or showed interest in our products and services.

@jacktla I get that. After my friend’s fire the other week, I’m much more alert to the possibility of fires. I had definitely become complacent and default was, “happens to other people”. When it happens to your people, it is not other people any more

Ever since the huge LA fires of January 2025 burned down several of my friends' houses I've stopped using the fire emoji entirely.

The upcoming "mega El Niño" could be the strongest since the 1877 event that wiped out 4% of the Earth's population due to heat waves, drought and pestilence. Scientists watching every weather model update are getting "heart palpitations" ❤️

@hp88 Recipe without the ganache looks similar to flapjacks. Though possibly the Anzacs wouldn’t have had the luxury of chocolate 🍫

@ohazassu I’m so fussy I can’t even verbalise it 😂 I usually do them easy-over after crisping base a bit. But I like some runny yolk, not jammy. Scrambled I like just set.
