Taxpayers should not be footing millions of pounds to accommodate families who have no right to be in the UK, especially when other asylum seekers comply with the rules and leave the UK when required. We are acting to remove them quickly, cut hotel use and slash costs.

Baisse de la TVA sur les carburants : l’UE vient d’interdire à l’Espagne de le faire ! ⤵️ Et voilà, conformément à la directive européenne 2006/112, qui interdit de baisser la TVA sur le carburant à moins de 15%, la Commission européenne vient de sévèrement rappeler à l’ordre l’Espagne, et la menace de sanctions et d’amendes, car un décret espagnol voulait provisoirement la baisser de 21 à 10% ! « Bruxelles avertit l'Espagne que la réglementation européenne n'autorise pas la baisse de la TVA sur les carburants » ! (cf : rtve.es/noticias/20260…) « La Commission européenne a adressé à l'Espagne une lettre l'avertissant que la réglementation de l'UE n'autorise pas l'application d'un taux de TVA réduit aux carburants, rappelant ainsi le décret royal qui voulait l’abaisser de 21 % à 10 % pour l'essence et le diesel afin d'atténuer l'impact économique de la guerre au Moyen-Orient.
