For the majority of us, it’s our first time hearing his name. But a lot of the hate he is getting on social media is ridiculous, and it perfectly encapsulates what’s wrong with our fanbase. Almost everything you hear about this guy from other coaches and football figures is overwhelmingly positive, you don’t knock out the last two champions en route to the cup final by accident. And who the hell are the alternatives? Bjelica = 0% chance (it will never happen). Anybody else is either another unknown or a povratnik. I think it is a good appointment.

Bralic and Maroodza are the worst CB duo in the history of this club. Every single f*cking match one or both of them make a cardinal mistake, I can’t even comprehend how that’s possible. @SarajevoFooty It’s not worship, it’s just we have been longing for a coach the caliber of Zekić for years. I was pretty upset when I read he was leaving & in the state he was leaving us but him & his assistants felt that coaching Man U would have been easy with all they faced as FKS coaches

I love ZZ Top. I like his personality, I think he is a great coach, and I think if left to work unobstructed he could have created something special with us. BUT … the guy f*cked us big time. That will never be forgotten and should not be forgiven. To leave the club at that … and I don’t care what excuse he comes up with, you were at the club for a year and you knew what you were working with. Leave after the season ends, don’t randomly jump ship at matchweek 2. I think that the Zekić worship needs to be turned down a little bit. I would not take him back, not at this time at least.
