This may sound silly but place a condom over it or use a ziplock bag and a rubber band. If it does get wet, mine did, the lock might freeze until it dries out. Where the bar hinges to the device is the place to keep dry. When keeping it clean hand sanitizer, because it evaporates, with cotton buds works wonders. Stay clean and safe. Now thinking about doing a cleaning video...
