@FictionIRL I feel that back in the day this was very important because your region was basically your main resource for improvement. Now a days if someone beats ur ass the same way every week at the local it's on you to figure it out. Telling them why is the protag move tho and I fw that

My hot take for today is that if you are beating someone in your local scene in Melee and they keep making the same mistakes, you have an actual social and moral responsibility to teach them. If you don't, you're weak and making your community worse to enable your weakness.

Surely this next Strive patch reignites my drive to play. I don't even particularly dislike Strive as it is right now but I just find it so hard to want to boot up and play. Feels weird not playing any FGs. No upcoming releases that I care about. Life's been good tho!

I love playing fighting games but it feels like what used to make them special is gone. Every new game that comes out feels so hollow. I try to stay positive usually but it feels like I'm losing a part of my life that I really care about and I can't do anything about it.
