The Leafs tanked 10 years ago, got the #1 overall pick, iced arguably the most talented group in 100 years of history and completely stumbled over themselves year after year. I cannot stomach a half assed "re-tool" and empty promises. You fucked it up... Blow it up and start over
@KwnStorm are you really just creating narratives just to hate on him ?😂😂 all indications have been that he wants to stay. What's the point of this tweet?
If Matthews wants out after being to the playoffs for 9 straight years, he is the wrong guy to lead this team.
First time in your career the team is taking a step back and you (potentially, maybe) want out? That doesn't sit right with me at all.
@LasVegasNBAteam@LakersNation I can't believe there are actually cavs fans who are watching this game right now that don't want lebron on their team next year 😂
"The LeBron to Cleveland idea/dream, I'm not seeing that at the top of the probability list," - @WindhorstESPN on LeBron James potentially joining the Cavs this summer 😯
🚨 Elliotte Friedman thinks Jason Spezza could be a potential candidate for the Leafs’ vacant GM role if he feels he is ready to take it.
“If Jason Spezza feels he’s ready, I can’t imagine why he wouldn’t get an interview.”
Spezza, who played with the Leafs for three seasons, joined the Leafs’ front office in May 2022 as a special assistant to GM Kyle Dubas. On May 19, 2023, after the Leafs fired Dubas, Spezza resigned. Shortly afterward, he reunited with Dubas, joining the Penguins as an assistant general manager in June 2023.
Should the Leafs consider bringing Spezza back, even if it’s just for an interview?
