An irl friend showed me a post made recently about me and I want to address the situation. There was some things said about me that need clarification. I am taking this very seriously and will try to keep it simple and to the point. tw: sexual topics, sa, ptsd, grooming

This is not a return post, I am just filling in the gaps that seemed to be left out, whether purposefully or not. I will not be coming back to twt nor will I continue to post anywhere. This goes for my private account as well.

One last thing I want to address. During most of our (the two oldest) friendship I was 17. I only met the younger friend through them toward the end of the school year so I assumed, mistakenly, we were all around the same age.

I understand that this thread doesn't excuse anything. I won't ask anyone to forgive me, I've made my peace that my actions have caused harm to others and can only work to do better offline to refrain from causing any more harm.

I am regretful that things ended the way they did but at the same time I am extremely hurt that my reflection and apology was disregarded completely and I've been painted as a predator online by my former friends. (3/3)

This was my last message to the three after a long conversation about them, their feelings, and how my actions/words affected them personally. (2/3)

I feel that it is important to note that I had spoken to each individually after the incident about how everyone felt and even though our friendships ended; I'd assumed it would be over after that given that we all talked and I reflected and apologized to each one privately.(1/3)

In regards to this message, I genuinely have no clue who this is because I have not disclosed heavily private information outside of the three. If I did hurt this person or anyone else in any way, I apologize.

I did ask about a sh photo, but it was out of concern and not any type of predatory behavior or fetish. They said no and I dropped it. If I seemed possessive or weird because of that, I will take full accountability. Context: They were worried about a scar from previous sh.

I avoided topics that would be inappropriate given the age difference, and despite our closeness I never talked too heavily on my personal life, never on the same level as someone in my age group. (2)

I did have a young teen friend (idk our status anymore given the situation) but it was purely hobby-based and we never talked about serious/life topics, aside from advice on mental health. Knowing the age gap I was extremely cautious about how I spoke to them. (1)

In relation to the topic of my sex life, I admit it was too much, but I considered myself (at the time) close enough with them and comfortable enough to speak on that topic. It was never meant to be harmful in any means, I just wanted to confide in my friends.

It stopped there and we made amends without issue. This specific conversation I don't have access to because it is between private accounts (2)

About me being clingy and/or possessive, I stated multiple times that I did not want to make anyone uncomfortable and if I cross boundaries to let me know. They never mentioned anything about it. There was only one big instance where they stated they were uncomfortable (1)

Obviously this is in no way an excuse given the circumstances, but I had absolutely no idea how young they were, as their age was not stated at any point from them or our friends. Since our other friends were closer to my age, I had assumed we were all close in age.

I thought it would be ok to talk about with them because previously they had said what you did in your past doesn't define you as long as you've changed and I felt sorta relieved because my past has been haunting me for years, even to the point of sh as I got older

For this message in particular, I realized quickly that I made a mistake and sent something that I shouldn't have. It was clear that they were uncomfortable and I quickly tried to end the topic. I found out how young they were right after this message.

I admit that I tend to trauma bond with others easily and overshare where its inappropriate, which is something I am actively doing my best to work on. It weas never my intention to pry info out of anyone, and I apologize if I came on too strongly in that regard.

I did not (at the time) realize my actions could be seen/taken as predatory. Only after they brought it to my attention did it feel anything other than a conversation between two close friends.

Even though we weren't friends for long, we both became comfortable around one another, so much so that we were friends outside of twt. It wasn't until one of our final conversations that they said I made them uncomfortable with how I approached them.

They never made it clear to me that they were uncomfortable but thinking back now I should have been more aware considering the severity of the topic. I'm also taking accountability for continuing this topic without asking their age.
