Every paragraph here screams not just anti-Graham and Trump hate, but American hate, fortified in this guy's mind with lies, exaggerations and oft-repeated distortions. He needs to get the hell out of here and find a new land with new people to crucify and new vistas to attempt to destroy. Or take an enormous purgative. Or best, both. @johnpavlovitz

Leading into Holy Week, Christianity’s marking of the last few days of Jesus’ life, Franklin Graham stood behind a podium to address American Conservatives. He did not use the moment of consequence to condemn the unprovoked bombing of Iranian citizens or the illegal and immoral war visited on their nation. He delivered no fiery sermon against the genocide in Gaza, the intentional starving of the Cuban people, or the brutal attacks on Lebanon. He didn’t unleash righteous fury at a presidential regime protecting a network of wealthy rapists and pedophiles. He did not decry America’s renaissance of open racism, its persecution of immigrants, or its sinful lack of affordable healthcare. He made no impassioned appeal to the self-identified Christians listening, to replicate the heart of Jesus by rallying around the vulnerable, the oppressed, the poor, and the foreigner; to flip the tables of the powerful who prey upon the least of these. Just a few days before Easter Sunday, this cosplaying, snake oil peddling religious huckster proudly stood before Conservatives at CPAC and preached the dehumanizing, racist, violent, perverse Gospel of Donald Trump. Look, I’m not a theological expert by any means, but I feel fairly confident in saying that if the Hell Conservative Evangelicals promise does exist, Franklin Graham is a slam dunk. johnpavlovitz.substack.com/p/franklin-gra…

I'm w you. Doesn't the Bible say it's easy to love your family and friends, but forgiveness for frailty is to be extended to your enemies as well- harder, yes- but w hope that you can refrain from hate, as Jesus did even though he was betrayed and abandoned. Trump hatred is pathological, regardless of the amount of protestors. @WatchChad

Someone asked me how I can be a Christian and support Trump. Well first of all, I DON’T support everything Trump does, or has done. I don’t know anyone that does. But that’s beside the point. Trump is a counterweight and not a savior. As a Christian I’m constrained to ask “which outcome restrains what I believe is more harmful?” So, the real question is NOT “Can a Christian support Trump?” The real question is: What is the Christian ultimately placing their hope in? My faith doesn’t find a determining factor based on who’s in the Oval Office, but rather Who is on the throne of Heaven. Contrary to today’s postmodern thought I can support certain things, dislike others, and find my identity in none of it. The moment you start acting like your political position is the litmus test for Christianity, you have already stepped outside the heart of the Gospel. Arrogant pseudo-spirituality that judges and criticizes based on political decisions in 21st century America is lazy at best. You can support Trump. You can oppose Trump. But if you can’t love your brother while doing it, then don’t pretend this is about Jesus.

This seems too timely not to suspect it has everything to do w the Islamist view of dogs. Cases in America of ppl not wanting dogs anywhere near them as they are seen as dirty or something. Creeping Islamism?
Benonwine@benonwine

WOW The BBC is now suggesting the UK needs fewer dogs. That’s… quite something. 😮😳🫢 Dogs are part of everyday life for millions of people in the UK and we are a dog loving people. My MESSAGE to the BBC, F***K OFF! What’s yours?

Exactly what you all do- make all kinds of unsubstantiated claims and then want us to waste our time disproving them. NO- you back up your claims with EVIDENCE first and then we can explore their validity. I could say you are a horse's ass but that is my opinion, not fact, and the way I prove it is to read your réponse which tries to put the burden of proof on me instead of Kuhn. @Ariana_J_21

@jamieroderickmc instead of calling @StevenEKuhn names, could you be a peach and take his points one by one and disprove them with arguments in a rational manner or is this reaction the most rational there is for you?
