Guys can we now not cope and be honest with ourselves that pudding was super unhealthy card that saved a lot of bad players from losing games that should have been lost 👁️👄👁️

@SleeepyFoo @DiceTcg @Zoe_1hudn You definitely can play around pudding lol. Things that you actually can't play against was stuff like RP Law because board protection wasn't nearly as good as it is now or 8c Gecko for the same reason. Pudding ban genuinely feels like Enies Lobby ban pt2

@DiceTcg @Zoe_1hudn @jase_zero ive always hated the "just play around it" take/advice whatever you wanna call it i can play sub optimally and they just never use it cause they dont have to and now im behind OR i can play my game and get punished. i dont think playing around it exists lol

@DiceTcg I personally hardly ever play blue outside of op7 boa out of pure spite of UY yellow, if anything it means I don't lose perfect curve mihawk hands, I just think that when we have Ace and other 15+ hand decks we need something printed to stop that besides 4c Law and 7c Robin

@jase_zero Gotcha I’ll use all my cards before hand, I’ll don -2 and use ggg at 6 don to guard a 1k bc I shouldn’t hoard events even with 1ks in hand. Listen man you’re clearly biased by playing blue so I can’t really say more to you if you’re gonna be blind. It’s banned now so deal with it

@DiceTcg Ok, so, in your example with UP luffy, if you're going against something with pudding, just use your cards before you get pudding, play more defensive, actively avoid getting yourself in the situation(s) in which pudding kills you. That's why I say if you can't do that, youre bad

@jase_zero That doesn’t make sense. I can take precautions against DMG I can’t with pudding. Even at 5 cards in hand that’s not a precaution against pudding. Am I supposed to be at 0 cards in hand to truly be safe from pudding? There’s no “hand protection”

@DiceTcg Yeah but if thats the case it feels disingenuous to say pudding is a purely rng thing when you can just set your board up for protection. It genuinely feels like a skill issue/lack of proper deck building if you getting pudding is why you lose when you "shouldn't lose this match"

@jase_zero Dead mans can is way different and a lot easier to play around then pudding. Pudding is all rng nothing you can do about it. If I need 2 don up to live then you leave up 2 extra taking DMG into consideration

@DiceTcg How do you feel about Dead man's then? Because that is equivalently the same thing, you pay 4 to cut off someone's don for counter

@jase_zero You’re missing the point bc bad player. Pudding was designed to punish hoarding large hand sizes but when an optimal pudding play is to also hit someone at 5 or even 4 cards in hand only bc they have don up is unhealthy and just lets complete rng decide your win rather than skill

@DiceTcg So, your hypothetical is when UP luffy is actively throwing as is. You can make any number of what if scenarios where you lose to pudding because you actively didn't take the precautions prior to stop a pudding from being the sole reason to end you

@jase_zero Let’s imagine this. You are 5 cards in hand 4 don up as UP luffy with 0 life and 0 blockers. The correct play is pudding you and KEEP you at 5 cards just to throw away your events. How do you play around pudding now? This is why players like you are so simple minded

@MarinefordTCG I think instead we need similar effects in other colors. Black making you trash, green you lower hand size to unrest (actual interaction for freezing), purple either trash or -don, not too sure on red or yellow but you get the idea
