@gplama And this is the head of the Skipton Rail Trail. Why not invest in the walkers, wildlife explorers, horse riders and cyclists that seek out this route? Why not celebrate Mars, a Ballarat icon? The trail head is more scrapyard than tourist destination.

I ride through this intersection almost daily. Let's hope they take the opportunity to remove the "Cyclists Dismount" signs. There's more than enough room to accommodate cyclists without requesting they WALK their bike across this intersection, as is the case now.

@N_Squillari Beautiful circuit. Tough enough to be ALWAYS unpredictable. Easy enough to invite anyone to have a crack. 200yo buildings, crowd literally hanging from balconies, kids playing on the grass in centre of loop, see riders 2x per lap from ANY vantage point, west facing sunsets ✅

@N_Squillari Savage race this year. Some big names popping while attempting to bridge to break with first 1/4 of race knowing it could be ‘that’s all folks.’ 1st time I have seen the peleton lapped on that circuit: like I said savage. Killer.

Earlier this summer @kell_obrien was rocking up to crits - full winter gear (cos that's summer in Melbourne 🙃) and @markobrien1987 noted "I reckon Kell is only a few crits away from giving us a real belting" Sure enough. Just glad I wasn't on the sharp end of this animal!
