@franknteddy Every single courtship ritual Rocky does (and sometimes Adrian does too) to woo Grace looks beautiful and poetic and even cute but Grace is like "*sniffing* yeah buddy :D" meanwhile Rocky is banging his head against the xenonite wall of his house in frustration

@franknteddy Meanwhile Grace feels like a third wheel when Rocky Adrian invite him over for date nights where they're proper courting him and he just thinks they're super duper platonically fond of him when he is. In love already.

because i assume they explain everything in lots of detail (for science), Grace telling Rocky how babies are made implies that if Grace ever popped a boner, Rocky would quickly figure out exactly what was going on …….

@franknteddy STOPPPP… don’t even say that to me. grace would speedrun death by broken heart so fast it’s not even funny. the day rocky dies would be the last day he ever eats. the eridian scientists would try so hard to cheer him up but he’d just be catatonic

no but eridians having soulmates (as in the whole soulmates trope. a mark on their bodies and everything) and grace being unaware and rocky being unsure how to tell him that he's soulmates with an alien rock when apparently human culture does not have them
