It feels pretty obvious at this point that someone’s going to make billions building a social app that’s just for friends, no AI slop, no brainrot, calm design, chronological feed and no concept of followers

@schulzb589 interesting yeah sensor data and hydrology models get you part of the way there, but things like standing water / estuaries / endorheic basins need special treatment

@jbelevate I wonder if it works on muddy water. That's typically been a breakdown point. Brazil, India, and China have some tough cases.

SF thoughts so far 1) Ambition is the default 2) Jesus it’s so easy to raise money 3) Trees are very pretty 4) Nightlife is non-existent 5) Had more serendipitous meetings over 2 days than in 2 years in NYC
