Still in ICU but off ventilator. In a bad way. Had multiple organ failure and life-saving op. Told I'm doing well but it doesn't feel like that. Being fed through my nose. This is the most undignified experience of my life. Need help with all personal care. No photo. Too rough.

@FinlaysonPalmer learn to handle rejections when they come along – they’re subjective, not personal – and celebrate those successes when they come. Most of all, don’t quit, and enjoy the process! 2/2 #ukteenchat

@FinlaysonPalmer My advice is, read a lot and write a lot – immerse yourself in stories. Join groups, online or in-person and make connections and friendships with other writers; try to get a trusted group of alpha and beta readers (not just kind mates!) 1/2 #ukteenchat

@FinlaysonPalmer Yes! As well as being a horror fan I’m also into crime fiction, and I’m in the latter stages of planning a police procedural (for adults). It's new ground, so I’m setting it close to home so I’m guaranteed to get the settings right! I have drawn up my characters 1/2 #ukteenchat
