@RNCResearch What if his 14-year old boy wanted to father a child? What if he wanted to quit school and join the circus? What if he wanted to build a meth lab in the basement? Would dad direct him in any way?

@LangmanVince She’s a professional grump. But… if Sweden just does this one thing, she’ll be happy.

@HistorianUSA1 @songpinganq Wearing a mask is less strenuous than carrying a sign that says, “I’m a nincompoop but it’s not contagious.”
English

Lefties are already virtue-signaling HARD with masks over the new hantavirus cruise ship outbreak.
This one is begging everyone to slap on N95 respirators (even outside) “like 2020” to stop lockdowns.
3 dead, passengers stranded at sea. If they come hard at you with mask mandates and lockdowns, are you going to comply?

@BreitbartNews Glazer is the right name for this interviewer, who is glazing eyeballs all across America with this insipid conversation.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: You can't earn a billion dollars.
Ilana Glazer: That's right.
AOC: You just can't earn that.
Glazer: That's exactly correct.
AOC: You can get market power. You can break rules. You can do all sorts of things. You can abuse labor laws.
Glazer: Yup.
AOC: You can pay people less than what they're worth.
Glazer: Yup.
AOC: But you can't earn that, right?
Glazer: That's right.
AOC: And so you have to create a myth that -- since you didn't earn that, you have to create a myth of earning it.

@Rightanglenews I didn’t recall her name but her face rings a bell.

Reminder: these folks hate the “downstream” in which Paltrow pretends to have an interest. Did she really have the deplorables, clingers and gun-toting hicks from the sticks in mind when she came up with Smells-like-my-Vagina candles that sold for $75?
These elitest Goop goofs would simply prefer to displace innovators who create real value with a small group of media and Hollywood elites who decide how to confiscate their wealth and give it to the “deserving.” Just because.

@WesternLensman Aw shucks. From the master of fake sincerity. If only Republicans were Democrats!
English

Republicans haven’t lived up to the expectations that Obama has for them, Obama tells Colbert:
“I’m worried about the Republican party."
"I'd love a Republican Party that...believed in rule of law...and wasn't constantly tapping into our worst impulses."
“There has been a Republican party like that in the past, and I want to see that return."

@Handre @mattwridley Ultimately, these efforts always end with coercion. And the coercion always requires brutality. But the collectivists’ dream still goes on: this time they’ll get it “right.”
English

The Plymouth Pilgrims accidentally ran the first documented socialist experiment in America three centuries before Marx scribbled his manifesto. Governor William Bradford's "common storehouse" system from 1620-1623 delivered textbook collectivist results: mass shirking, crop failures, and near-starvation.
Bradford recorded the disaster in detail. Young men "complained that they were oppressed" when forced to work for others without reward. Productive colonists watched lazy neighbors receive equal rations despite contributing nothing. The system "was found to breed much confusion and discontent" because it violated basic human incentives. People starved while fertile Massachusetts soil lay underworked.
The turnaround came swiftly in 1623 when Bradford abandoned the collective model and assigned private family plots. Production exploded overnight. Women and children voluntarily joined field work when their families directly benefited from extra effort. The same colonists who nearly died under socialism suddenly produced abundant harvests under private property.
Bradford explicitly credited private ownership for saving Plymouth Colony. He documented how individual responsibility transformed human behavior within a single growing season. Individual effort cannot be separated from individual reward without destroying both.
Every socialist experiment since Plymouth has repeated this identical pattern. Different century, different continent, same predictable collapse when planners ignore the reality of human nature.
No matter what they call it, whenever and wherever collectivist ideas are put into practice, disaster soon follows.

@libsoftiktok Any chance it could provide a single reason why it “deserves” the long list of freebies it’s demanding?
Maebe not…

@Geniustechw People will be rousted from their homes and frog marched to a dungeon where they will be forced to listen to Jimmy Kimmel in a continuous loop!
