The Copenhagen City Heart Study tracked 8,577 people for 25 years and ranked every sport by how much life it adds. Badminton: 6.2 years. Soccer: 4.7. Cycling: 3.7. Swimming: 3.4. Jogging: 3.2. Tennis almost triples jogging. A separate study of 80,000 adults found racket sports cut all-cause mortality by 47% and cardiovascular death by 56%. Swimming hit 41%. Aerobics hit 36%. That hand-eye coordination and strategic processing builds neural connections that protect against cognitive decline. Third, and this is the one researchers keep coming back to: you literally cannot play alone. Every racket sport requires another person on the other side of the net. That forced social interaction triggers neurochemical benefits that solitary exercise cannot replicate. Strong social connection alone increases your chance of longevity by 50%. Jogging is you and your thoughts. Tennis is you, a strategic opponent, and a community. Dr. Daniel Amen is right. The data is overwhelming. If you want the single highest-ROI activity for a longer life, pick up a racket.

When I tell my friends/family about how much crypto/nfts have changed my life and how much I think it will continue to do so, they don’t take the time to research it AT ALL. Imagine being presented with this rare life changing opportunity and not taking any interest whatsoever.

This is what I have to say to @nftgerry Don't let the few haters get you down. I have watched you pour your heart and soul into the BAYC for 2 years for free, and then a year representing us all on the ApeCoin DAO in the role as SC. I was lucky enough to work along side you for 6 months, watching you put your heart and soul and every ounce of energy, fighting and working for the DAO. I understand the difficulty of the position and the frustration of not being able to discuss more with the community. You are a huge part of the BAYC and culture that was set from the beginning when you were spending your time in the BAYC discord vibing out, welcoming new Apes, and making banners. I believe I speak for 99% of the club and community in saying, WE LOVE YOU GERRY! and for the other 1%, they can f right off. To the community: Please treat Gerry as the passionate communty member he is and not with a "stain" from being on SC. Gerry was not placed on SC, he was voted in BY THE COMMUNITY and represented us well. It is strange from going from beloved community member to looked at as some kind of enemy by some, or "parasite", bc he/ we were paid by the DAO for raising our hands to step up and try and make a difference. You may not always agree with everything he/we do/did, but i can tell you without fail, he always fought for you with everything he had in his bones when it affected you/ us as community members. I am proud to be his friend and stand with him through good times and bad and I ask you to try and do the same. 🫡🩷
