True that CPR itself isn’t inherently romantic, but this scene is because of the context. Gray had just admitted he loves Juvia the chapter before, and then he (kisses) gives her mouth to mouth while reaffirming his vow to protect her no matter what. That promise is rooted in love, so this isn’t random CPR. #gruvia #fairytail

gray giving juvia cpr is that INTENSE, yes. he loves her to an extent he didn’t even know, he vowed to protect her no matter what. the whole chapter is built on LOVE and his feelings for her. it may not be an ordinary kiss but IT IS ROMANTIC. it’s the intention behind his action.
