Power is out, immense straight line winds out of the WNW for 20 mins straight, 2 mins of dime to nickel size hail, & numerous large trees/branches down. Top gust: 46.6mph, rain: 0.77”. Lots of lightning in 35 minutes too.

@katebilo I tweeted that on the last warning for Ocean county, when the rotation was nearly gone, farther west I wasn’t as sure, which is where it was, if there was a tornado in Ocean I will find an old shoe 😂

I have now seen video that says it was at least briefly a tornado, the “debris” being lifted in the air appear to be leaves and it is probably an EF0 with 50mph winds 🙄 #NJwx

Concerning discussion from the SPC. An isolated tornado or two likely based on the shear profile in our area. PLEASE STAY ALERT!
