Sharing a non crypto liquid idea from a few weeks back. Up 50%+ today but of course I didn't buy yet :( MP Materials ($MP) stock is pretty interesting: - only fully scaled rare earth magnet (REE) facility in the US - they own and operate the Mountain Pass mine, the only operating rare earth mine and processing facility in the United States - Rare earth magnets (REE) are crucial for military operations. They are key components to missiles, radar, fighter jets, essentially everything - We currently get 95% of our REEs from China (honestly shocking) - There is effectively no way to fully decouple from china at this stage - There is a theory that this is why trump "brokered" the seize fire between iran and israel. Its because the western world is running out of REEs. (shoutout @LukeGromen) - China is effectively putting a chokehold on REE exports to US. Down 93% YoY. - US military (and all other western militaries for that matter) are critically dependent on chinese REEs... no bueno - $MP is the only rare earth mine in the US, so if we have to rejuvenate domestic production, these guys are the clear beneficiary - $MP Stock is quietly up 66% this month, and 130% over the past 6 months. Outperforming s&p benchmarks, palantir, and plenty of other top tech stocks like nvidia

i genuinely think this is the best position crypto has ever been in we have: - defi at ath - tradfi bullish on tokenization - tokenized stocks - stablecoins at ath - payment use case at ath - some cool privacy use cases being built rn - some cool consumer apps getting real traction (polymarket) - way less infra bottlenecks - ux becoming good-ish the only thing now is showing this to the right people

I'm not gonna knock them, they have had a great launch and I like the narrative of real builders presenting their case and crowdfunding. But I will point out that @autodotfun gives you 90% of the fees. Not 50%. Not less than 50%. 90%. IMO this should be the default.
