Jacoby’s time was close to her individual swim. But with a relay start, you’re ideally looking for a time that is .5 to .7 faster than time in individual event. The entire order was problematic in numerous fronts.

Whatever about the opinion of either Michael or Maya, I can't get my head around a former Team USA swimmer making a public statement about a young man, with a great medal potential 2 days before the start of the Games. And Tagging him? Seems unnecessary

Michael is allowed to make his own decisions and I can guarantee you that none of us here are holding any decision like that against him. He is still doing everything in the best interest of this team.
