Look at my face. 10 PM, Christmas 2023. I was in line at the store buying energy drinks and some snacks (I know, best diet) But I had an excuse..."I told myself I was just 'preparing for the fight" I finally landed my biggest Fiverr gig yet: $100 for a 1-minute video. But here was the catch, I had less than 6 hours to deliver. They needed a promotional video, and they needed it immediately. I went to a friend’s house to pull an all-nighter. By the time I bought the pizza and energy drinks just to survive the night, I had already spent half the money I was about to earn 😂💀 I had worked a full day before that order even hit my inbox. You can see it in my face, I was tired af. This picture is exactly why I started coaching editors. Once I scaled to $1,500 per video, I realized the hard truth: Positioning will always beat (only) working hard. And while helping multiple editors scale past $10k/mo I remember this everyday.

Mindless consuming literally makes you feel like you’re always doing something wrong As if you should always do things how the person you’re consuming content from tells you to, or else you won’t succeed It often leaves no space for critical thinking or how YOU want to do things

this right here, is exactly the reason why i think the best way to cure procrastination is to just START the project instead of thinking abt making it a masterpiece but even that, is a skill that takes deliberate consistent practice, and generally becomes easier the more u do it once you learn to look at your work as something you just do, instead of something that you HAVE to do it becomes very easy to not fight a mental battle every time you have to sit down to edit
