Mr Bhagwat's logic that RSS doesn't need to register because it doesn't take government money is laughable. Will other organisations also be allowed to do the same?

@Gurhi_jalebi Ethnic cleansing can’t mean whatever you want, natl identity & the boundaries of a state are 2 diff things & ur jumping between two levels of abstraction when it’s convenient for you, all I’ll say is if u catch urself agreeing with Hindu nationalists you’ve probably lost the plot

@Gurhi_jalebi i have to laugh honestly, accusing me of saying Kashmir is part of India (which i did not) and defending the ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits (which is a framing employed by Hindu nationalists) WHO HAVE FAMOUSLY WANTED KASHMIR TO A PART OF INDIA is a truly whack move, kudos

@Gurhi_jalebi weird to completely abstract from the historical context - internal displacement within national boundaries which happened bc of the politics of Hindu minority (& facilitated by jagmohan) is not the same as ethnic cleansing, words used to mean something lol

this strange desire to decide when criticism should be levelled by whom is a certificate of correctness given by those who have no sense of political realities. by now it should be clear, whatever else he may be, rahul is a walking disaster as an organisational leader.

What I found most disturbing was the timing of @Ram_Guha’s piece. At a moment when the dominoes may finally be starting to fall against an increasingly dominant regime, any well-meaning political commentator would hold their horses before publicly writing off the principal opposition force. Critique is necessary. But so is political judgment.

congress’s complete inability to rebut the fascist populism of himanta sarma (who himself was part of congress till 2014) coupled with veteran congress leaders defecting to BJP is pivotal to understand what happened in assam. but sure, RG will deliver us from this hell 💅🏾

genuinely have no idea why people are piling on him for an argument that should be uncontroversial at this point? are we going to ignore the defectors from congress to bjp & pretend that doesn’t reveal a fundamental problem?
