@lady__flash As someone who reads most fics on an e-reader, those gaps are even bigger there 😭 what I do is I download the epub, put it into calibre and delete the gaps with the editor (it’s usually just an empty <p> tag). With find & replace it’s super fast too :)

I need people who write their fics in google docs to format them properly before posting on ao3 because the giant gaps between paragraphs disturbs my spirit every time. Paste it into word first, it fixes it! It also fixes that thing where there’s a space after any word in italics

@lady__flash i actually put those bigger gaps in on purpose 😭 my eyes hate when everything is crammed together and i like to use two line breaks as a kind of soft scene break, like not enough for a divider line, but still a pause (if that makes sense lol)
