Wow. This is horrible news for all Canadians. The federal Liberal government has just announced that debt servicing charges are expected to increase by more than 30% to $80 billion PER YEAR by 2030. That's $80 billion in taxpayer money (your money) that can’t go toward hospitals, schools or roads - but is instead being wasted on interest payments to Bay Street.
