Just hit 4 years post 2nd kidney transplant. Even with stage 5 kidney failure, every symptom you can think of, dialysis, 15 pills a day, monthly ER visits, and now two life saving surgeries, you just can’t give up. You either victimize yourself or you pick up that battle armor and face your toughest battles. Start with gratitude. Focus on something bigger than yourself. WHY are you doing it? WHY are you trading? WHY are you sacrificing everything to make it? WHO is it you are doing this for? WHAT is the life you are trying to create? I did it so I could give back to my family for everything we went through during 2008/ first kidney transplant. Use gratitude as the driving force behind your hustle. Thankful to be included in a collection of other hustlers and I use it now to keep me committed present day even if my life is already what I started to dream of

You’re either committed to this…or you’re just visiting. If you spend enough time in the markets, you notice a pattern. Thirty years ago, there were people I talked to every single day. Smart, engaged, confident. Most of them are long gone from this business. And every year or so, you find yourself in a new circle. New voices, new personalities, people deeply immersed in the markets. Some you meet online, some in person. You connect, you share ideas, you talk regularly. Then time passes and they’re gone too. What’s interesting is how normal this feels on a day to day basis. Especially on platforms like X, where you’re constantly surrounded by people discussing markets, sharing wins, building followings. It creates the illusion of a stable community. But it’s not. It’s a rotating cast. Many of the people you interact with today, who seem successful, confident, and consistent, won’t be around in a year or two. Not because they chose to leave, but because they couldn’t sustain it. And when you step back, you realize this business quietly filters people out over time. There are a lot of reasons why. Some mistake a favorable market for skill. Others never develop a real process. They just react to what’s working in the moment. Many burn out emotionally. And a lot of people tie their identity to performance, so when the performance fades, so do they. But one thing stands out more than anything. The inability to look beyond today. No long term plan. No patience. No real desire to build something durable. Because the truth is, if you genuinely want to be here, you will find a way. The people who last slow things down. They think in years, not weeks. They focus on process over outcome. They learn to enjoy the game itself, not just the rewards. Most people, though, are here for the money. And there is nothing wrong with that until it is the only reason. Without a deeper drive, it becomes very hard to endure the setbacks, the uncertainty, and the time it takes to improve. So they become part of the conversation today. But not tomorrow. If you stay in this long enough, you realize something. The faces change. The conversations repeat. The lessons stay the same. And what you are really watching over time is not just people coming and going. It is time revealing who was truly built for this. Cheers, DELI

Everyone who trades prop either seriously or as side income should read this. re: Moving to Live. A fresh of breath air from AJ, live trading isn’t the “big leagues” it’s simply the next phase in the journey of learning to trade after demonstrating success in sim. 👌
AJ@ajtradinglucid

I am glad you brought this up Andrew. I think it’s time someone says what we all know to be true. For most firms, giving traders live capital is a stop-out. The majority of traders are going to blow the live account. Let’s break this down 🧵

Went to the car dealership Saturday Wife wants a new SUV Salesman walked over and said "what are we looking for today?" I said "what's your margin on the Tahoe?" He laughed I said "I'm not joking. What's the invoice price versus the sticker and what holdback does the dealer get from GM?" He stopped laughing My wife said "we're just browsing" We were not just browsing I brought a spreadsheet Printed Color coded Blue for inputs Black for calculations I showed him the comparable transaction analysis I ran on every Tahoe sold within 50 miles in the last 90 days He said "sir this is a car dealership" I said "and these are the comps" He went to get his manager The manager came out Looked at my spreadsheet Looked at me Said "where do you work?" I said "private equity" He said "that explains it" My wife was already in the lobby pretending she didn't know me We got the Tahoe $4,200 below sticker She didn't thank me But the savings speak for themselves You are welcome Sent from my iPhone

Ninja Lockout is available now on NinjaProp and TradovateProp accounts. If you’re done for the day, lockout on Tradovate or Ninja web apps or login to NinjaMobile and do it from your phone. Don’t let your cat or kids trade on your behalf anymore 🤣 @TradovateProp
