And I found two Mexican women who have been making Kosher quesadillas for 68 years. 68 years ago, her grandmother realized that her Mexican Jewish neighbors couldn't eat quesadillas because they were not Kosher. So she decided to make special quesadillas, unique recipes that didn't mix meat and cheese. And she turned it into a business - Quesadillas La Muertita. 68 years later, her family still is running the business. Today Quesadillas La Muertita are some of the best quesadillas in Mexico City.
