You find someone you idolize a lot who inspires you to create, and then find out they just...hate your guts. It takes a lot out of you.

TADC fans want to be critics, they want to analyze art, but they can’t, because they’re fundamentally incurious people who aren’t much interested in what others think or feel, and all their criticisms boil down to “Why should I care about a morally bad character?”

The problem with the TADC discourse is that gooseworx is a newgrounds artist and an actual adult and most the fanbase are like object show and mascot horror fans so people who havent consumed a real piece of art in their life lol
