I can’t stop imagining making the choice to run as far as you can from anyone you love so you can hopefully be killed alone. I just. I’m so fucking angry and sad. This is something beyond evil.

This afternoon the young man seen running from the vehicle received a call from the Israeli army telling him he could die alone or die with his family in the car. He ran from the vehicle into a field and was struck and killed by an Israeli drone. This is not the first time that the Israeli army has used this tactic. It is pure barbarism. Abject terrorism.

i think we should talk more about politics in casual settings. the era of being friendly neighbors without knowing each other’s political opinion is over. if we all discussed our different opinions more in person, maybe it would help to humanize the other side

Korea’s four major agencies, YG, HYBE, SM, and JYP are teaming up to launch a massive new K-pop festival aimed at surpassing Coachella, the world’s largest music festival. the joint project, called “Phenomenon” will feature artists from all four agencies. Chairman Park Jin-young has set the goal of building a world-class K-pop concert venue and creating a global festival that goes beyond Coachella. after two years of preparation, the festival will be held annually in Korea starting December 2027, then expand into a worldwide tour of major cities from May 2028.

i see so many girls and there’s like a hundred different kinds of pretty and every single one feels like a whole universe. there’s the sunlight pretty girls who look like they belong in golden hour forever, the stormy pretty girls with smudged eyeliner and a look like they know something you don’t, the effortlessly cool pretty girls who make basics look like a personality trait, the soft quiet pretty girls who feel like a safe place without saying a word, the loud pretty girls who walk in and the room rearranges itself around them, the “just rolled out of bed” pretty girls who somehow still look unreal, the thoughtful pretty girls who carry warmth in the way they look at people, the chaotic pretty girls who feel like a spark you can’t quite hold onto, the put-together pretty girls who look like they’ve mastered life (even if they haven’t). girls are so insanely beautiful it doesn’t even feel fair sometimes

thinking about what the internet was like when justin bieber uploaded that first cover. youtube was three years old. twitter was two. instagram didn’t exist yet. tiktok wouldn’t exist for another decade. there were no “creators.” there was no creator economy. there was no algorithm feeding you a personalized slurry of content engineered to keep you scrolling for eleven more seconds. there was jus a website where people put videos, and sometimes those videos reached everyone and changed the creators life. this performance is a memorial for the internet we lost.
