How do Jacob Zuma and all these other thug leaders feel when they see their supporters harassing legitimate business people who are South African and are actually Zulu in KwaZulu-Natal under the pretext of dealing with the problem of illegal foreign nationals?
This is exactly what has always been said would happen. After harassing foreign nationals, they would eventually turn on each other. When you encourage people to target others based on suspicion, rumours, and prejudice, it becomes impossible to control where it ends.
What is happening is embarrassing, especially for the MK Party, which has a hand in all this. Instead of addressing real issues through lawful means, this dangerous culture of intimidation is now affecting the very people it claimed to protect.
The events unfolding in KwaZulu-Natal should serve as a warning that mob behaviour never remains confined to its original target. Once it is unleashed, it grows, spreads, and eventually turns on everyone.

As the Minister of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training, I carry the responsibility of protecting, empowering and guiding our young people with the seriousness and integrity the office demands.
The issue of drugs, substance abuse and drug peddling is deeply painful and disturbing because it continues to destroy the lives, dreams and futures of many young people across our communities. As a parent, a leader and a Christian, I will never tolerate criminal behaviour or anything that threatens the well-being of our children.
It is therefore heartbreaking to witness reckless and false narratives being spread without evidence, especially on matters as sensitive as this. False accusations do not only damage reputations, but they also weaken society’s collective fight against the real dangers affecting our youth.
If anyone has credible evidence regarding any wrongdoing, I encourage them to come forward through the proper channels so that the law can take its course. We cannot build our nation on rumours, hatred, malicious attacks and character assassination disguised as public concern.
Let us remember that public opinion is not always the truth. Words can destroy families, reputations and lives. As Zimbabweans, let us choose responsibility, honesty, compassion and unity over reckless accusations that divide and harm one another.
Together, we can build a stronger nation when we choose responsibility over recklessness, respect over hatred and truth over falsehood.

At today’s 393rd Ordinary Session of the Politburo Meeting, His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa commended the vibrant National Assembly Meeting of the Youth League held last week, applauding the youth wing for broadening transformational empowerment projects across all districts.
The President urged Party departments to fully support the Youth League so that it remains empowered, disciplined and committed to the correct line of the revolution, free from manipulation.
In a special moment, the Politburo also warmly welcomed Retired General Philip Valerio Sibanda, famously known during the liberation struggle as “Ananias Gwenzi,” into the Politburo.

@LCabonena There's nothing wrong with maths literacy, he approves recommendations from the department technocrats, it doesn't necessarily mean that it was his idea.

KNOW YOUR POLITICIAN.
Thabo Mbeki.
Thabo Mbeki didn’t believe HIV led to AIDS when unmedicated, thus delaying ARV rollouts.
300 000 South Africans died because of his actions.
He killed technical schools and introduce OBE.
In January 2006, he introduced Maths literacy in South African schools as a substitute for pure Mathematics.
Today he is saying , South African youth is unemployable because they lack skills.

A leaked explosive audio - which has gone viral - featuring two interlocutors known to The NewsHawks, but who can't be named for professional reasons, at least for now, reveals local billionaire Kudakwashe Tagwirei's hidden business and political grand plan, strategy, tactics and burning ambition to succeed President Emmerson Mnangagwa in 2030 to become President.
Tagwirei's plan includes taking over more sectors of the economy, making bigger money and using it to influence the military and politics for him to eventually become President in 2030 after fighting off Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga, his main stumbling block, out of the way.
The succession battle against Chiwenga will come soon after the contentious constitutional amendments have been passed by parliament and signed by the President into law, the audio says.
Chiwenga is locked in a fierce succession battle with Mnangagwa.
He is fighting tooth and nail to take over from him, posing a threat to Tagwirei's ambitions.
Mnangagwa does not want Chiwenga to succeed him.
Tagwirei and former Zimbabwe Defence Forces commander retired General Philip Valerio Sibanda are also widely seen as contenders in the increasingly cutthroat race to State House.
The audio confirms many things already known to be true to the public, including that Tagwirei views himself as the de facto Prime Minister of the country, co-running government with President Emmerson Mnangagwa
The tycoon is perched at the commanding heights of the economy, with vast political, economic, business, policy and decision-making powers and influence.
This makes Tagwirei feel unstoppable in his political agenda.
The audio says Tagwirei is already billionaire anyway who controls key sectors of the economy and plans to hold further sway on mining, land, health, education and energy through lined up money-spinning multi-million-dollar business deals.
Tagwirei views himself as far more monied that other local tycoons such as Wicknell Chivayo and Pedzisayi Scott Sakupwanya.
He only sees Billy Rautenbach, another Mnangagwa close ally, as his real competitor, according to the audio.
Through policy influence, Tagwirei is tightening his grip on the gold sector while barring foreigners from coming in, owns vast tracts of land, plans to build a health empire, to control student accommodation, and have a stranglehold on fuel distribution.
This plan, he thinks, will make him even a more powerful billionaire and in the process propel him to become President.

Canaan Sodindo Banana’s son, Sipho Banana, said his life has changed greatly from the time he lived at State House. He said he now lives modestly in a small one-bedroom cottage that is being expanded to two bedrooms. He added that he is grateful to at least have a roof over his head and suggested that some former first families are treated better than others.

On my way from an exciting holiday in Zambia I had an unpleasant experience with a Zambian Police Assistant Inspector along the Chirundu Highway who wanted to robe us in broad daylight.
He flagged us down 15 km from the border and without explaining any charge demanded that we turn the car back and drive to Lusaka. We asked what the issue was but he couldn't explain and yet demanded 1000 Kwacha if he would leave us.
We refused, gave him my passport and will be making a formal charge against him to Zambia Police Service. It's shocking how corruption is eroding public services to this shocking point in our countries.

.@ProfJNMoyo wants me to explain to him in detail why I say #NoToCAB3. I don’t really have time to engage him individually, but if there’s sufficient interest from all of you, I’ll find time.
So if we can get 1k RTs, I’ll do a series of posts/videos explaining each issue. Deal?

#CAB3 increases the President’s control over: - elections - courts - Parliament - prosecutors - traditional leaders Makes our Parliament undemocratic Takes away our right to vote for the President & gives it to that undemocratic Parliament Deprives us of a say in a referendum
