Thanks for the opportunity @biodiversifying. Working on this reminded me of the various identities we encompass as scientists, but, sadly, how our identities are used against us to exclude us. There's still much to be done to make science accessible and equitable.

Congratulations to all of those awarded an NSF GRFP! It is a great accomplishment. 🙌🏾 For those who didn't hear the news they wanted to hear, it is ok to feel disappointment & frustration. Also remember what you learned putting together the application. That is accomplishment!
