@deGourlay So a 16/17 year old is believed to be mature enough to participate in our democratic process but they can’t be trusted to buy alcohol or cigarettes, make a will, serve on a jury, gamble, stand for election etc. The inconsistency seems odd.

Such a significant change in the franchise should require a referendum.
