@InfamousTwigz Free agent market just isn’t the way of building more. Everybody signs or trades their players before they become free agents.

I’m begging the Anaheim Ducks to bring in a big name FA this offseason

@MarkZinno Sounds smart to me. As you seem to think, the horse had no chance to win the Preakness, so why would you enter it in a race it can’t win, risking millions of dollars and a chance to win a race they could win?
English

Translation: We were a 23-1 long-shot to win the Derby and don’t think we would win the shorter track against a horse like Renegade again. So we will preserve our horse’s health — AHEM! “Value” — and get the max we can for future stud fees.
Gutless horse owners have killed this sport. They prioritize money over wins and legacy. She’s not the first, nor the last do this. It’s just destroyed this once insanely popular sport.

Anaheim just had 6:18 consecutive time on the power play, including 1:42 total of 5-on-3... 5 total shots.
Made themselves extremely easy to defend.
Momentum for Vegas. 0-0, 10:31 P1. Game 2. #FlyTogether

@HansFiene While episode one was horrendous, episode two was pretty good, and episode three was very good. And the three prequels had the benefit of making the ending of The Return of the Jedi make some sense, and turn that movie from being horrible to somewhat less than horrible.
English

Except that their criticisms, vulgar as they often were, were entirely legitimate.
The prequels, all of them, were HORRIBLE movies. Horribly acted, horribly written, horrible CGI, horribly un-Star-Warsy.
The sequels, in particular the last 2, were HORRIBLE movies, albeit for different reasons. No vision, no heart, no purose.
You can blame toxic fans all you want, and there are always going to be perpetually disgruntled dweebs whining about everything. But there would not be so many "toxic" fans and their "toxic" criticisms would not resonate with so many people if the prequels and sequels had been good.
They weren't. At all. In the slightest bit.

In retrospect, maybe letting a couple of bitter Trekkies tell us what was bad about Star Wars wasn’t a good idea.

@GlobeBobRyan @JasonCole62 I also definitely thought Bob would say Bill Walton and/or Bobby Orr.
English

@JasonCole62 Herb Score. May 7 will be the 69th anniversary of the horrible night when Gil
McDougald’s first inning liner struck him in the face, thus short-circuiting what very well have been a Hall of Fame career.
English

Bo Jackson is No. 1, by far. But there are many others, like Gale Sayers, Terrell Davis, Sterling Sharpe, Bernard King, Tony Conigliaro, Mark Prior, Greg Cook, Joe Namath, Sam Bowie, Jay Williams, Shaun Livingston.

Name an athlete you would love to see with an injury free career I’ll start with Andrew Luck
English

@JasonCole62 I’d put Bill Walton or Bobby Orr above all those.

Saw The Princess Bride again last night at the @netflix is a joke screening hosted by my brother @Cary_Elwes. Firstly I hadn’t seen it for at least 10 years and it really holds up. And secondly if you get a chance to see my brother talking about it live , run to it. Cary was absolutely hilarious and his stories are gold.
English

@wyshynski Ducks fan here — blown call, but you can’t let up when the call is made, have to play through.
English

Just realized I didn't add my two cents here.
The Ducks got absolutely jobbed, on the one time a linesman decided to make a judgment call on a race for the puck on an icing (in the third period, of a tied playoff game no less).
Greg Wyshynski@wyshynski
ESPN rules analyst Dave Jackson on the decision to wave off icing on the @GoldenKnights 3rd period goal vs. @AnaheimDucks:
English

@PatrickCPresent No reason he should apologize, but I think it shows he knows that the Ducks outplayed Vegas.

@Dodgersandrewjf No, if the Astros hadn’t been cheating, the Yankees would have made the World Series and they would’ve beaten the Dodgers. So the Dodgers were cheated out of nothing.
