Really felt for these two year 7 mandatory tech classes this afternoon under minimal supervision. They just wanted to go into the workshop/kitchen like the other classes. Not last minute - they have no teacher.

@jeff_scott2 @rachaellehr Guess it depends if the purpose of introducing STEM? Is it for student engagement? Increase in STEM electives and/or career pathways? Increase in STEM-based skills? Something else? Increase results in STEM? Whatever the intent, support with baseline data to measure success.

Looking for help on this please. Have you included STEM in whole school planning documents? What milestones did you select/use? What was the end target/goal? Searching for ideas to support whole school implementation of STEM in all classrooms (3-5 year plan). #STEM @rachaellehr
