Just occurred to me how helpful the VHS medium was for making early CG look realistic

@yasujirowsky There are only basic stuf there, such as glare, distortion, mist etc. Vhs-styled filter made outside the blender

@noahdxs it's a complicated mix of everything (photoshop + ae + davinci + some plugins) I think it should be easier way but it worked for me

@hautdeuxla vhs-styled filter applied outside blender, but everything else is pure blender

@guildedjared Nice one! Agree, that's crazy what you can do from scratch without even going outside.

@maxpanysh I don't think enough people properly appreciate that we've reached a point with free software and consumer hardware where one person can render mundane footage and nobody would ever question its authenticity when presented without context.
