I see a lot of artists talking about hating when people come up to them and ask to draw them, but growing up I’ve genuinely loved doing that and love giving away art for people is this a minority thing? Is it really that annoying for artists? 😭😭

it's so difficult for me to show drawings to people irl, specifically to non-creatives. most of the time, it's just: realism = wow you're so good at drawing! amazing! literally any other style = is that anime? weird that you draw cartoons. where did you copy this picture?
