That discipline of documentation is what eventually turned a services company into a software company. You run the work manually until you have seen every edge case the market can throw at you, and then you encode the pattern, automate it, and price what comes out of the pipeline like a product instead of labor.

What we are losing with AI is syntax -- and good riddance. The less our brains are occupied by semicolons and braces the better. There are much more important things for us to consider and manage.

@kimmonismus Strong engineering principles build great products. Anthropic got that right. No matter the perception, businesses that run online will rely that is really reliable.

To be honest: I didn’t expect that steep curve of adoption. Anthropic surpassed every prediction and is becoming the number one business product.
