@gadikian In this context, "backing token" is defined as the token that trades are denominated and settled in; in other words, it's the underlying. This is separate from the staking token, which functions similar to ATOM in that it incentivizes validation.

(3/4) Thanks to the use of a common backing token, Microtick's price discovery can benefit from its existence on multiple chains; the more overall liquidity, the more robust the price feed.
