Israel’s Knesset has approved a bill criminalising denial of Israel’s version of events of October 7th, those who break this law could face 5 years in prison. What is Israel’s version of events? That the militia of an open-air concentration camp with nothing but light arms, caused this level of destruction on October 7th. Thanks to brave reporting from independent media in the West and some Israeli journalists, we know that Israel implemented the Hannibal Directive, where Israeli helicopter gunships unloaded their bullets and rockets on anything that moved in a mass application of the directive to prevent Israelis being taken hostage by Hamas, who would then be used in hostage negotiations to free the thousands of Palestinian prisoners. The now debunked mass rape claims are also now enshrined in law, meaning questioning these debunked claims, or even saying that they have been debunked, could land you in prison in Israel.

@midwan is it possible to add a preference setting to the M2 version of Amiberry so that it will not quit with command-Q? I was running Shapeshifter on AmigaDOS 3.1 (don’t ask) and found that Command-Q didn’t just quit the program I was running – it quit the entire emulator.

Nothing demonstrates the sheer hypocrisy of the West such as this: it demonstrates both the mockery that "freedom of speech and opinion" is, and the complete disregard for international law and the principles the West says are its bedrock. You're an icon if you defend a politically popular cause but you'll literally be physically banned if god forbid you oppose something that all international legal texts say is completely illegal and that violates the most important principles of the post-WW2 order. That's why, as I often say, Israel is a weapon of mass destruction of the West: it forces it to pull open the curtain and reveal that everything it claimed it was about is a lie.
