@Riftwalkergame Health bars are comfort‑mode UI—they make fights predictable and take away realism. Players love them, but not knowing enemy HP (especially with elites that have hidden health/armor) forces you to read behavior, not numbers.

@Riftwalkergame Make kills worth more experience if you decide not to use them as a bonus. This way, players also feel inclined to attach a bonus to working slightly harder. Changing the enemy behaviour based on health matters. Reduced speed, stumbling, and even retreating / finding cover.

Important question. 1. Health Bars 2. No Health Bars This choice shapes how Riftwalker feels. What are you picking?

@Goated_Himself There’s a fine balance between giving something away for free and getting a real return on that investment. Too often, people support a streamer only for the giveaway—90% are in it for the reward, not the creator. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed.

With that being said, I still am very much giving away codes to people that I find fit and don’t annoying about it. Understand I’m not gonna give away 20 $70 codes per day. Or 1 code per day. That’s alot of money I’m wasting to make someone’s day great. Keep the vibes high chat

One last thing before I head to work Just because someone spends THERE money on $70 codes to give them out to help people doesn’t mean every single one of you is entitled to getting anything Trust me when I say I would rather sit on them than deal with Twitter idiots

@TimSweeneyEpic Support the indie market. Find a few diamonds and help them refine their process. Go out and follow 10-20 small indie games and you will be doing more with your time than sending Epic another $20-$30 for the rights to play their games on their platform only while it exists.

@TimSweeneyEpic You can’t have both open creative process + profit‑driven culture sharing the same office. When the suits take over, studios get streamlined, risk‑taking gets cut, and entire teams get removed—turning once‑distinct franchises into empty shells.

In the coming days, employers will see a stream of resumes of once-in-a-lifetime quality folks. An important thing to understand is that Epic never lowered our hiring standards as we grew, and the layoff wasn't a performance-based "rightsizing" as companies call it nowadays. It's a sound bet that anyone with Epic Games on their resume is in the top few percent of their discipline.

Sad news for Epic Games. Hope the efforts to turn things around can work. gamesbeat.com/epic-games-lay…

It's far too late to say this, but I wish Valve purchased Rocket League instead of Epic.

@BassFromThePast Couldn’t agree more. It feels like we’ve hit a point where creative risk is drowned by corporate metrics. Maybe this pushes more focus toward indie studios again—some of the most memorable experiences come from devs who still care about the craft rather than the quarterly report.

I genuinely think we’re witnessing the death of AAA in real time. No amount of profit is ever enough and the over investment we are seeing on random meaningless side projects is a direct result of outsiders with no knowledge of gaming having way too much influence.

@roseannvesia @mcuban Instead of pointing at one thing or pointing blame, it would be nice to see people coming up with solutions or suggestions to fix the problem. We already have enough complainers who waste their time. I support the person who brings real change regardless of party affiliation.

I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire. It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs. Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ? Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries. That’s how they game and abuse the system and increase costs for all of us. Call your senator and tell them to support the BreakUp Big Medicine Bill by @HawleyMO and @SenWarren.

@KinguinNet I want fine details. I also want a good tracking system to remind me where i need to go next cause I get distracted by the smallest things. With games like Crimson Desert, it's a mix of small details and overall storytelling. Even the small quests feel very polished.

@Riftwalkergame You really want to see a developer who lives and breathes to create a unique experience, go check out @LuclinFTW during one of his dev streams on Twitch. You will learn so much about the game, and when you see his vision, you will be inspired. Support small devs!

@AlphaKep The sooner we realize Epic Games was never really prepared to support the vision we all had with Rocket League, the better off we will be. Their main focus will always be Fortnite. RL is the stepchild who gets less attention and always will.

@ShadowMechYT I have always had high hopes for Minecraft, but the way developers like Hytale really support the modded community in a unique / monfied way speaks volumes to me. I will always be MinecraftingDAD, but today I am ready for some more meaningful adventures.

@ShadowMechYT As a fan of the game, this feels like too little too late—cool in spots, but probably not enough to lure me back to vanilla. I've spent the past decade deep in modded Minecraft, even building my own custom mod packs, and we've created so much in that time.

I’m going to be honest, the frustration over Minecraft updates is one thing I’ll never quite wrap my head around. I bought this game about 15 years ago, and it’s still getting free content to this day. In a gaming landscape where everything is a subscription or a $20 skin, getting any free update on a 15-year-old receipt feels like a massive win. Why are we complaining again? Maybe, I'm just missing something.

Get ready for the first look at Chaos Cubed! New sulfur caves are calling… but don’t get too comfortable. Step too close and your world might start to warp. Plus, meet the sulfur cube, a mob that evolves based on what it absorbs. Wood, ice, and beyond… the possibilities are endless! #MinecraftLIVE
