PokePerp is coming along nicely, we overhualed the Ui to make it more like "the Hyper Liquid Of Trading Cards". Core issue now is that, its not like very volatile, its pretty stable market, so we might need to dial into a specific market (like card packs), to find something that goes up/down like 20-30% in a month to make it a bit more exciting and what degens want. but from the technical side, it works right now as a rough MPV.

What if instead of the SP500, we had a basket of the top 500 Pokémon cards to long or short? So how does that work ? what's the oracle ? Glad you asked.  The P500(poke500) tracks a fixed basket of 500 Pokémon cards, with all pricing sourced from poketrace, Ebay, and TCGplayer. For each card we compute a blended price  the average of every available price tier across our two USD sources, TCGplayer and eBay, covering both raw conditions and professionally graded copies (PSA, BGS, CGC, ect.) We blend across all tiers on purpose: since any single tier only moves when a fresh sale prints, averaging many of them produces a smoother, more responsive value than relying on one quote. The index itself is simply the sum of all 500 cards' blended prices. We pull current prices on a recurring schedule and rebuild each card's price history from daily sales, filling any gaps with the last known price before summing across the basket. Because different cards have different amounts of history, the historical curve is anchored to today's live basket value. In addition to this, we have all 500 cards listed with links to each one, so you can see what is exactly included in the basket, and where the data is coming from. Each of the cards in the second picture is clickable, and brings up the card, price and where to buy ect. We chose top 500 cards because its memeable ( SP500 ect), and its harder to manipulate than one card. Also we did 1 card markets before and the price like just didn't move and it was super boring. I am working with a few other exotic oracle providers to see if we can make the data further robust. But this way people can get exposure to a basket of cards and the broader pokemon market. Plus it just seems fun. Anyways coming soon. Its on mainnet now, but needs testing. If you want to test Comment or hit me up.
