Whitman-Hanson/Duxbury Gymnastics had another great meet this afternoon celebrating the seniors with a big WIN against Plymouth 126.25 to 124.15. Highlights include junior Carly Reid’s 8.1 vault and senior captain Morgan Astuto’s powerful vault with an 8.2. Junior Katelyn Ferraro had another great meet today with a solid 8.3 vault score and excellent 8.5 floor routine. Senior captain Emma McKeon had a solid meet on the beam (8.9) and the floor (8.8). The final meet of the season is the league meet this coming Friday at 7 PM at Starland! --

Whitman-Hanson/Duxbury Varsity Gymnastics had a great meet tonight in a loss against a very talented Hingham/Hull (127.15 to 132.85). Highlights include sophomore Jaycelyn Gomes first meet back from injury competing on vault and beam with a score of 8.45 and 8.0. Sophomore Morgan Nessralla scored her highest vault of the season with an 8.0, while junior Katelyn Ferraro scored an amazing 8.5 on the floor. Senior captain Emma McKeon stole the show tonight with not only coming in first all around with a 35.65, but also scoring the highest event score in Whitman Hanson history with a 9.55 on the beam! She also had an 8.7 on floor and a 9.2 on vault. Our next meet is Sunday at MGC Pembroke at 2 PM where we will be celebrating our seniors from Whitman Hanson Morgan Astuto and Emma McKeon, and from Duxbury Autumn Cooney.

Whitman-Hanson/Duxbury Varsity Gymnastics had their BEST meet of the season tonight with a win against Plymouth (123.75-121.5) and a loss to Pembroke/SL (131.5). Highlights of the meet include junior Carly Reid and senior captain Morgan Astuto’s 8.0 vaults. Junior Katelyn Ferraro had a great meet with an 8.65 on vault and an 8.2 on floor. Senior captain Emma McKeon wowed everyone with her amazing 8.7 bar routine and 8.9 beam score! Next meet is tomorrow afternoon at MGC in Pembroke at 2pm against Scituate.

The Whitman-Hanson/Duxbury Varsity Gymnastics team completed their first meet of the season on Friday with a win against Scituate, 121.8 to 121. Highlights include WH junior Carly Reid’s powerful 8.2 vault and WH junior Katelyn Ferraro’s excellent 8.0 floor routine and personal best 8.6 vault. The top all-around score for the meet was WH senior Captain Emma McKeon with a 34.8. She scored the highest for the meet on all four events, including a 9.1 on both vault and floor. She also had an amazing beam routine scoring an 8.7. Next meet will be Sunday at 12 PM at the Hanover YMCA against Hanover.

We will have results and some videos when it’s all over. I’m so impressed with this team, the support and encouragement they show each other is really special - a big part of that is our amazing Coach Vance!

The Whitman Hanson gymnastics team had their best meet of the season today with a 128.75 winning against Plymouth (122.2) and a loss against Marshfield(136.3) and Pembroke/Silver Lake (135.4).

WH gymnastics continues to battle through injuries and keep improving

The Whitman Hanson Varsity Gymnastics team had 3 meets this week against Scituate, Hanover and Pembroke/SL! Although they have been dealing with multiple injuries and illnesses, the girls have pushed through and continue to score in the 120’s.

Whitman Hanson varsity gymnastics had their best meet in 4 years today at Home at Mass Gymnastics Center in Pembroke in a close loss to Scituate. Their team score was an all-time high of 129!

Whitman Hanson Gymnastics (124.85) had an incredible WIN tonight over Plymouth (123.85) and a loss to Hingham/Hull (131.05)! This was a huge improvement for WH from their first meet earlier in the season.
