At around 6:20 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired at 5805 County Rd 101. Investigators say the suspect fired off numerous shots at an apartment unit. There is one victim with injuries, and it does not appear to be a random shooting. This is an active investigation.

At 1:25 pm Thurs, Minnetonka Police responded to calls for shots fired outside Ridgedale Center. No shots were directed at patrons. The suspect was located + apprehended without injury. There is no continued threat to the public. No other details are available at this time.

In similar programs across the country, drones are resolving around 25% of calls without requiring an in-person response, allowing officers to stay available for the calls that need them most. But what makes this milestone matter even more is how it’s being done. With community trust and transparency built in from day one, every flight is purpose-driven, logged, and publicly viewable through a community-facing dashboard, establishing a new standard for accountability in emerging tech. A suspect outside of United Healthcare has been placed into custody without incident. There is no threat to the public. We are continuing to clear the scene at this time.

There is currently a large police presence at the United Healthcare campus. We are monitoring the situation.
