Haiden Deegan is staying in the 250 class for the final two races of the season:
🗣️“I’ve already put my name in the record books by winning the title three rounds early — nobody’s done that in the last 30 years. Winning seven in a row is pretty unheard of too.
Now I’ve got one more goal: I need one more win to become the winningest 250 rider of all time in Supercross. Right now I’m tied with James Stewart and another rider — but they raced in the 125 era, so it’s a bit of a different story.
Still, for the 250 class, we’re tied. So the plan is simple: go out there, get another win, and make history.”
@JunkoBlows9847@LifeofaDman@Dirtbike_Lovers ... however the beauty of this era, Haiden and Jett are so much closer in age.. We could be looking at 5 years + with them both in their primes.. Plus Hunter, maybe Lucas and Kay if they travel over there.. We could be facing a new golden age..
@LifeofaDman@JunkoBlows9847@Dirtbike_Lovers I think Barcia was born in the wrong era. He should have been in the 2t era. I honestly thought at the time we were about to see McGrath 2.0 when he went 450.
@JunkoBlows9847@Dirtbike_Lovers RV. 3 × outdoor champ. 3 × MXoN champ. I'd take that over Haidens 250 career, personally.. And he beat RC on a 250.. That alone is just insane, even if Ricky did crash in the first turn..
@MotoPsyOps101 Hard to regain the flow after you crash right.. Makes him holding off 84 even more impressive in my eyes. I think they were both spent last few laps.
What an unreal performance by de Wolf. 19th/20th on lap 1. Next time I checked on him, lap 5, he was 7th. Then worked his way to 3rd. Won't be long till he's fighting for wins.
@oldman_killins@GateDropMx What were you expecting him to say? Making a big deal of Haiden is dismissing his bro, who beat him at MXoN, Eli - 5 × champ, Prado - 4 × World champ, Chase..
Also, why would he give anything away. When that first gate drops they're officially same class, till then 🤷♂️
