I have a methods-based paper which I am first author on, and while I am excited to move it forward I have been paralyzed by fear of rejection/criticism at the review or publication stage. How do ppl move beyond that and just put their work out into the world? #epitwitter #phdchat

@wiredferret I have the problem when there are multiple people playing music at the same time and my mind tries to put it all together into one song.

Sometimes I wonder how actually-musical ppl function at all, w/ so many cxns I get bits of it, like “Hey, Kind Friend” by The Indigo Girls.. has a tiny trumpet riff from “This is My Father’s World” in it… Which is enormously similar to the Hobbit Theme from the LoTR movies…
