I genuinely can't comprehend how this is legal and how they can put "also you can't sue us lol" in their tos and now they're immune from class action lawsuits

Surely this new update is a risk of a lawsuit right? You pay for an item then it later gets changed completely. No option to refund or any kind of compensation. You just now have an entirely different item from the one you paid actual money for.
