@Konradery while also maintaining his core personality of seeking strength. basically, it would be cool to see that he’s changed, but he should still retain a lot of his original character so it doesn’t feel like he became an entirely different person off screen!

@Konradery especially if he knew arin was having difficulties with *lloyd*. morro’s selflessness is also very uncharacteristic; it would make more sense if he was working alongside others for something that would benefit him, showing that he’d taken wu’s “you can’t do it alone” to heart

@openlycomplex The Writer clearly don't care about Morro as he's not important to the overall plot of DR and had be there as something to indirectly help Arin's character and as some neat fanservice heck if you go to the credits they don't even call him Morro they call him "Departed Ninja"

@Mohamme87726770 + dr morro has a different personality than even dotd morro, he lacks snark and edge and is just so uncharacteristically soft compared to how he was in dotd (which i also think was ooc)

@Lia_uhh but why does he have a change of heart? what causes him to suddenly pivot from how he’d been behaving up until that very last second? and i’d argue that there should be some sort of arc shown if a character has changed drastically, otherwise it’s very unsatisfying and feels wrong

@openlycomplex Well no we already saw Morro do that in DotD he could've tried to kill Wu but chose to let his only chance of coming back to life go in order to help his master and the Ninja as a way to try and redeem himself and he takes it to another level in DR just as Wu trained him before

@openlycomplex i suppose so. i think i just have some sort of ninjago fan imposter syndrome LOL? all this talk on the internet about people who "larp" i think has gotten to me. or maybe im still watching it because i need one single interest to focus on sometimes, but im kinda disinterested rn

@Mohamme87726770 issue is the morro we know would never have self sacrificed to protect others to that extent, s5 morro is a very selfish person and he isn’t given a good reason for his mentality to change to such an extreme
